The conference theme revolves around the interdisciplinary nature of MBM, focusing on the life processes involved in healthy living and longevity. Participants will have the opportunity to explore various facets of this topic, including:

  • Molecular mechanisms underlying mind-body interactions
  • Neurobiological correlates of mindfulness and well-being
  • Psychoneuroimmunology and its impact on health
  • Integrative approaches to mental health and physical well-being
  • Mind-body interventions for chronic disease management
  • Yoga, meditation, and other contemplative practices for health promotion

Call for Papers

Submission Guidelines: We invite submissions of abstracts on original research, case studies, theoretical contributions and reviews that address the conference theme and related topics. Submissions should adhere to the following guidelines: 

  • Abstracts must be written in English and should not exceed 2,000 characters including spaces. 
  • Abstracts should include a title, author(s), affiliation(s), presenting author and contact information of the presenting author, status (student, researcher, etc.) 
  • Papers will be peer-reviewed by experts in the field. 
  • Accepted papers will be presented orally or as posters during the conference and will be considered for publication in a special issue of THE MIND Bulletin on Mind-Body Medicine Research.

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 30th of May, 2024 
  • Abstract Acceptance Notification: 31st of July, 2024 
  • Conference Registration Deadline: 31st of August, 2024
  • Conference Dates: 4th and 5th of November, 2024
